I was born in Venezuela, raised in Florida, and completed my BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I participated in art shows. I received a fellowship from CU Boulder to pursue an MFA starting this Fall. I have a lot of experience with murals and art events in Florida, and would love to also make a living from my artwork. I’ve always been fascinated with the process of drawing and painting and how it connects with people.

As a visual artist, I ask myself everyday how art can shape our world, how it can surprise people, and what social impact it can have. These questions drive me to create public works that bring diverse groups of people together by opening the audience to new perspectives.
